Recently I spent…..

a weekend with like minded ladies just doing what we all love to do. Sewing, eating, laughing and generally having fun, whilst trying to complete a few WIP’s. After having a talk with them, we all decided we were very happy doing our own thing, and not having any structure to our days of freedom ( from family & housework ) Also its the ideas that are flying around, and friendships made that make our life so wonderful.
I have a few photos of the works that were started, finished or just worked on.

Sorry photos aren’t the best, but you have to be quick. Some people just flash them. Also, tables are in the way.

Luckily I took a couple of things to work on, as the one thing I wanted to do was work on my Friendship Medallion Quilt. I cut ALL the pieces ready to sew up, did a lot of them then found after cutting them, that I had stitched them all one way. Again not taking enough care with the instructions. I never gave it a thought until I went to join up a row.

Growing like topsy! Now to send a photo to Patchwork PumpkinP1000802Thanks for dropping by My signature

Looks as if an enjoyable weekend was had by all, I quite like it when there is no structure and you can just do your own thing, but there is this feeling of togetherness as you chat and sew.

Your Friendship Medallion is looking good, I still have the first part of the pattern hanging up, willing me to start on it :)
