Beyond The Cherry Trees Album Quilt

I have started again in earnest to hand applique my blocks for Beyond the Cherry Trees by Sentimental Stitches.

A stunning antique red and green applique album quilt from the mid 1800s
The pattern is not free any longer, but can be purchased.

I started making these blocks a year or two more ago, but haven't posted about my blocks, so here are some photos.

I have appliqued these blocks using various methods, but at the moment my preferred method is back basting.

My background fabrics seem to vary in colour in my photos, but they are all the same. Plain White.

It is so difficult to know what to work on, each evening. Do I hand quilt my TATW, or knit my half finished scarf or work on these blocks.

Thanks for dropping by

These blocks are beautiful Sue - your applique is so neat. I"m the same with too many temptations around me each evening. Thank you for linking up to the Peacock Party.

Your blocks are wonderful- very smooth curves and great points! This will be a stunning quilt!
Having a number of things vying for your attention is a wonderful problem to have.. I don't understand people who sit and do nothing.
