Trying to work out the best colour for the 2nd border.
The Blue
or the red.
I want to keep the brown borders and the red at the top of the photo as this is going to be for my hexagon border, and I bought the fabric especially for it. Everything else is out of my stash ( bought with this quilt in mind) as I go.
Thanks for your help

Hi there Sue hon. I think I prefer the blue. What colours are in your hexies in the centre?
*hugs*

Hi Sue, your Mrs Billings is looking very nice. I think I prefer the red border. It makes your quilt look a little warmer like my original. Although as you know I do like red! I am interested to hear what your other followers think too! Keep stitching, Karen
I like the blue, but prefer the red.
I like the blue Sue but if you are going to use the red and brown shown at the top then I would go for the red version but I am rather conservative with colour. I love this part of quilt making even if I do agonise too much over choice and use up a lot of time. Have fun!
I like the red but that is just my opinion :)
i would go with the red too....complements those browns much better i think...
The red lifts the beautiful quilt a little more.
Red. I'm all for brighter colors.
I concur with Tazziea, the blue does it for me.
I'm thinking the red looks best
Even though red is my favorite color, and I believe in Freddy Moran's mantra that "Red is a neutral", I prefer the blue for this quilt. Thank you for the inspiration and sharing your journey!
