Hi everyone who is still reading my blog. :-)
I have had so many issues with photos, that it has stopped me writing this blog, but it now appears as though alot of the problem has been my own lack of knowledge.
I got a new phone for Christmas, and after spending the best part of a day trying to get my photos from my phone and tablet onto my computer to put in this blog, I found that they were all there in google photos automatically. GRR!
Anyway all smiles now. I finished another Grand-daughters 16th birthday quilt, just before Christmas, and in time for her birthday.
This is my Friendship Medallion Quilt which I started back in 2011.
It is quite hard to photograph my quilts as they are usually pretty large.
Athough I am still trying to refine my machine quilting, I was fairly pleased with what I managed. I love my Bernina 710 as I may have mentioned before, and it was not difficult, as long as I have a large table in front.
I also made a bag for a friend of mine for Christmas. She chose the fabric and left it to me to decide on the pattern. She was very pleased with it.
Thats all for now, so thanks for dropping by

Hi Sue! I LOVE seeing this Friendship Medallion finish! How wonderful for you. And it turned out great! So many memories sewn into it during this past six years, huh? You did a great job of quilting, and I'm tickled to know your Bernina works so well for you. You already know that I think Berninas are the best! Thanks for sharing. Enjoy sleeping under it. How fun that we have "twin" quilts! :-)
So glad to see you managed to DO IT Sue!!!! The friendship quit is beautiful and I like how you have quilted it too - how satisfying to get it finished!! That bag looks pretty cool as well :-)
It is lovely! I always say great quilts cannot be rushed. :)
Your Friendship Medallion is so beautiful. No matter how long it takes to finish it always feels great. Your finish was well worth waiting for. Hugs
Sue, I love medallion quilts and this one is a beauty.
I love that quilt - such a great job and to quilt it on your domestic machine! I have been trying to do some of my quilts on my machine also as my fingers will not longer let me hand quilt all of the quilts anymore. I am adding you back to my feedly reader I lost your blog address sometime ago and glad you stopped by my blog now I have your address back :)
I know how you feel. The photo part is the bit that gets to me. I'm glad you were able to figure it out so you could share this beautiful quilt.
